A. Technical Ceramics

We assist our customers in:

-- Developing and manufacturing low volume specialty ceramic parts using both oxide and nonoxide materials, very often in a composite metal-ceramic assembly form.

-- Running pilot prototype batches of ceramic parts for initial testing./concept verification prior to their release for mass production.

We can manufacture the parts from higher end materials, like alumina, as well as from steatite, porcelain, and cordierite for price sensitive mass market applications.

-- Arranging for high volume production by ceramic houses, with whom we have close working contacts.

B. High Temperature Environment/Refractory Materials

-- We can select/recommend materials for specific applications, can also do performance testing/verification under a variety of high temperature conditions.

-- Having the material already qualified for the application, we can shape it into a specific functional ceramic part for the customer's application.

C. Powder Technology/Powder Characterization and Processing

We have the capacity to do the following on a small scale:

-- Certain means of preparation/synthesis of materials.

-- Comminution/full powder characterization.

-- Granulation/full characterization of granulated material.

-- Compacting/shaping.

-- High temperature processing, both in air and in controlled atmospheres.
